Bromo (3) : The Tenggerese Culture

Because Tenggerese are also Majapahit Kingdom people, so they bring the Majapahit culture at the new area. Because they want to hide their identity. They escape from Majapahit. But their culture still alive un til today. They speak Javanesse Tengger, it's different from East Java. They know about "Semedi" (pray), "Ngebleng Fasting" (not eat and drink at all), "Mutih Fasting" (only eat rice and water), it's depent on sun. It's called "Candrasengkala"

The names of dates and "Pasaran" (Javanesse day) are not different from Java, that is "Radite" for Sunday, "Soma" for Monday, "Anggara" for Tuesday, "Budha" for Wednesday, "Wrespati" for Thursday, "Sukra" for Friday, and "Tumpek" for Saturday. And "Pasaran" is "Petakan" for Legi / sweet, "Abritan" for Pahing, "Kuningan" for Pon, "Cemengan" for Wage and "Manca Warna" for Kliwon. This is Javanesse day.

They use Caka Year, 1 year is consists of 354 days. It's divided into 12 months :
(1) Kasa Month
(2) Karo Month
(3) Katiga Month
(4) Kapat Month
(5) Kalima Month
(6) Kanem Month
(7) Kapitu Month
(8) Kawolu Month
(9) Kasanga Month
(10) Kasepuluh Month
(11) Desta Month
(12) Kasada Month

Almost every "Wilujengan Month", the certain ceremony based on the characteristic of that month
